Little Boys and Concrete Extras

The farmhouse is really getting close!  We had the concrete extras poured last week.  The biggest addition is the driveway up to the garage.  We made this so it will double as a basketball court!  There is a wire grid underneath the concrete to strengthen it.  They also did not make the large...

Viva La Gypsyville!

Once upon a time in a land not too far away, way down in Texas lived two gypsies that you could even watch on TV! They blogged and they made clothes, and made lots of things, and even inspired some style into Sierra Rae! Okay so I’m not Mother Goose, but there had to be a little magic spun into...

It’s A Pink Out at the Farmhouse!

It is getting busy inside the walls of the farmhouse!  The HVAC people have been in putting in all the duct work for the air conditioning and heating.  I kept repeating to the guys.....I don't want to be hot!.....are you sure there is enough cooling power?  They kept assuring me that there would...

The Big Beams are up!  Wow!  They were awesome just sitting on the ground and now I love them even more up in the farmhouse!  They were such a work of art by the framers.  These guys cut these big beams just the right size, sanded the edges and hoisted them up 20 feet in the air!  Each of the...
