Welcome to Sweet Flower Home!

Are you looking for an easy spring Tablescape to set for your Easter Table?  Look no further! We have set all the elements for you!  I love setting an Easter table even if it is for just a few family and friends or a large group.  This beautiful setting can take shape in many different ways to fit what you have to design it.  Spoiler Alert……we will give you alternative ideas in this post!

Let’s go through a few of the tablescape elements:

Green check tablecloth

Grass/jute placemat

Green bunny plates

Green water/tea glasses

Orange napkins with green flower napkin ring

Orange taper candles

Plastic eggs

Faux carrots

Tiny vases with flowers

Raffia (looks like tan grass)

Orange napkins in a faux flower napkin ring.  You could trade this with twine and a sprig of greenery.
Green bunny plates from Home Goods are adorable but you can switch these out to white plates or paper plates.
These are all the elements I used to design my table.  The key to any beautiful tablescape is to layer the elements.  This creates a lush look on your table.  We first put down the green checkered tablecloth, added the grass placemat, then the dinner and salad plate.     In the center of the table, once again the cloth is the base, then add the raffia in a generous amount.  Let me say right here that raffia gives the table a warm, full look.  It is cheap to buy and you can use it in many different settings!  Once the raffia goes on layer with the carrots and colored eggs.  Distribute them on both sides of the table.  Remember you have people sitting on both sides.  Tuck the candles in the center of the table.  I like to always use an odd number.  Place one in the center and decide how many you need to fill out the table.
Last element I place is the tiny flower vases.  I actually purchased these from a thrift store and they are little crystal shot glasses.  I use them all the time on lots of different style tables.  The beauty of these is you can use a variety of real flowers.  Put one or three in the vase and that’s all you need!  You can buy grocery store bundles or gather from your yard!  It doesn’t take very many to make a big statement!   The orange napkins have a beautiful flower napkin ring.  That adds one more flower element which I love. Place your flatware at the plate and pop a green glass on the top right of the plate and you’re ready to go!

Needing an Element Replacement?

Congratulations you have designed a beautiful Easter Tablescape!……….oh wait……you don’t think you have all that stuff?…….Okay, well lets substitute for things you do have or are reasonably priced and accessible.  Let’s revisit the elements……..

Green check tablecloth Replace:  solid white or pick your favorite spring color or no tablecloth at all

Grass/jute placemat Replace:  Dollar store gold charger, beautiful piece of scrapbook paper

Green bunny plates Replace:  White heavy duty paper plates and add a small paper salad plate

Green water/tea glasses Replace:  Pastel colored plastic cup or clear plastic cup

Orange napkins with green flower napkin ring Replace:  Paper napkin in your favorite Easter color, add a jute string and tuck a sprig of greenery in it.

Orange taper candles Replace:  3 pillar candles in your favorite color

Plastic eggs and Faux carrots   Replace: any of your favorite Easter decor

Tiny vases with flowers Replace:  One larger flower centerpiece or no flowers at all

Raffia (looks like tan grass) Replace:  Faux Easter grass Tip:  Remember to layer all these elements.  Find the color palette you love and stick with that in the different elements you use.  If you want a natural look, add natural textures and colors in your elements. If a whimsical look is more you, add the variety of colors with your Easter decor, faux Easter grass and paper/plastic dinnerware.

Yay!

I hope you are inspired to create a beautiful tablescape for your family and friends this Easter holiday!  Creating an inviting table brings those you love so much more than a meal.  It brings you together around the table to share your thoughts together, laugh at bad Dad jokes and connect in a way you have been longing for. Hospitality is something we can all share.  It doesn’t have to be fancy or expensive.  It just has to be genuine.  Friendships and family can refresh your soul and it starts with an invitation to the table!

Thank you all for stopping by the blog today!  Happy Easter! Christ Has Risen He has Risen Indeed! Blessings, Carrie
