Thank you to everyone who came out to the Pumpkin and Sunflower Festival in October! It was so much fun to get to meet so many of you in person. We loved seeing all the pictures and watching kids pick out their favorite pumpkin and Mom pick out her favorite sunflowers. The flower arrangements were a big hit. It was so sweet that one young Dad brought his kids because his wife had to work. He carefully picked out a flower arrangement that she would love and took it home to her! That’s why we do this!

Nana Mo’s salsa spiced up the event! She is actually my aunt and this was her first time selling at a market. She loved it and will be back for Christmas at the Farmhouse Market! My daughter-in-law made all the bath salts which smelled glorious and my daughter baked all the breads. We will have both back at Christmas. I’m so grateful that our events are family affairs here at Sweet Flower Home. Miss Tiff’s Caramel apples were a tasty fall treat that everyone loved too!

Our little costume parade felt like the Macy’s Day Parade to these little ones all dressed up in their costumes! We shook our moracas all around the Festival. Moms, Dads and Grandmas took pictures all around the Festival!

And can we talk about the pies……..wow I made over 30 pies! 36 actually…..I think! The third round of pies were baked at midnight. So I was a little tired and my count wasn’t exact. The apple and apple crumble were the big hits. The pumpkin was loved too. But the midnight pumpkins were a flop….only I didn’t know until a day later. I forgot to put sugar in them!!!! Yikes! We had one left and my family was having dinner when my daughter said “Mom I think you messed up!” That’s always a scary line coming from your daughter. She informed me that the pie had no sugar! Well luckily there were only four of those. Sooooo if you are one of the people reading this and bought a terrible pumpkin pie let me know and I’ll make another for you……with sugar!!

All in all in was a wonderful little market. I have enjoyed hosting these small markets where people have room to move and no lines to wait in. Just a fun bit of time spent on the farm!

I love that someone sent me this picture of all the goods they purchased at the market! Pumpkins, sunflowers, caramel apples and salsa! What more could you want!

Thanks you all for so many sweet compliments. Please keep an eye out for all the great events we have coming up for Christmas!

Blessings,

Carrie
