Macarons

My daughter Torey and I fell in love with macarons in Paris at the bakery Laduree.  I know……you think that I spelled it wrong…..but no, that is how Laduree spells them!  Believe me, I’ve checked….a bunch!  I had been sitting in our doctor’s office when I spied a magazine with these bright, beautiful cookies on it.  I fell in love instantly because they were just so pretty!  I further read that the famous maker in Paris had a beautiful bakery to go with it!  I  knew then that my mission on my upcoming Paris trip with Torey would be to find this delectable and inspiring bakery.  We did. It was love at first sight!  These macarons in the picture are from Torey’s wedding shower six years later.  They were beautiful and delicious!  Thanks for the memories and inspiration Laduree!
