Happy Fall! It has finally gotten below 100 degrees in Arizona and has even dipped into the 70’s at night here!  Yes for us that feels like fall! So I am happy to be back with you after a long, hot summer absence.  I was busy moving from the old house to the new farmhouse and traveling.  So we will get back on track and start showing you some of the wonderful elements that have been incorporated and finished on the farmhouse.I also hosted a handful of parties here already and will show you some of the beautiful decorations we created!

Today’s picture of the wreath on the front door was created for my daughter Torey’s baby shower.  She and her husband are expecting a baby girl in October, thus the big pink flower!  I created some other flowers that we put up on the wall around the barn doors inside the house.  They turned out beautiful and all the guests had to take a second look at them!  I hope you enjoy them too!

We dressed the tables in bright orange and pink and added serapes on top of them!  We then added in our flowers, succulents and terra cotta pots.  The Mexican soda and water added fun with color and texture as well as functionality to the table! I painted bottle openers and adorned them with ribbons at each table to open your bottles! We used fun bright patterned paper plates for the taco salad dinner! At the taco salad bar I added a cute little pig, chicken and painted a donkey pinata pink!  I added more handmade paper flowers to her collar! At the dessert table we made flan, which is a Mexican custard, Mexican pasteries, and cinnamon sugared tortilla chips as well as sugar cookies, cake and ice cream.

We used little fuzzy balls on everything we could!  It gave it a Fiesta Boho look!  I wasn’t sure we could mix the two but it came together beautifully! I found a little chicken wire baby carriage several years back at a garage sale.  So I painted it pink and more paper flowers adorned it!  We used it as a card holder for the guest to drop their card into!

A fun time was had by all showering our sweet Torey so she can get ready for this new baby girl!

Thanks for stopping by Sweet Flower Home!  We are up and running at the farmhouse so there will be more coming your way!
