What happens when you bring 65 professional photographers in the same room?  Lots of laughter, connection, and education.  Thank you photographers for showing up to the Booking Party in a BIG way!

The photographers learned about when our different crops are ready to be photographed.  Sunflowers in October, Cotton in November/December, Broccoli flowers in February, Onion seed field in March/April, Wheat in May/June and Corn in June.  We also learned about how we plant our crops in different fields to help with the soil nutrients and the fact that (to many a city folk surprise) that crop fields don’t have exact addresses!  That is a FAQ that I get all the time!  What is the address of the field?  There isn’t one is always the answer!

Thank you to our wonderful sponsors that provided the giveaways for the event!  Miss Tiff’s caramels cooked up these decadent bon bons and chocolate caramels with a cute sunflower on them.  Kamipops backed yummy cookies.  DoubleTSugarCookies created these gorgeous sugar cookies with our logo on them! Rangel Roast provided us with coffee to taste test for their new venture into the coffee business.  By all accounts their coffee was delicious!

Rangel Roast, an up and coming coffee service was on hand to allow us to taste test some of their new flavors.  They brewed up some fresh mocha lattes and vanilla caramel lattes.  It was a toss up in the crowd which coffee flavor was the most popular!  Look for Rangel Roast to have coffee, hot and iced, at our future Sweet Flower Home Events.

We enjoyed the snack table as well throughout the evening!  Chips and salsa, cream puffs, strawberries and a cheese board to name a few hit the spot for the photographers!

It was such a wonderful time of connection for these photographers.  Not only did they attend to business by booking spots for their clients, they got some face time with their collegues.  So many of these ladies follow each other on social media but don’t ever actually meet in person.  There aren’t to many events out there that can bring them together.  I heard some wonderful stories of some of the women sharing some business knowledge and some of the women sharing their hearts to a like minded soul!  That is exactly what I was hoping for when I first started bringing this energetic group of entrepenuers together!  I am so thankful to get to work with this great community of professional photographers!

Now I can’t wait to see all the memories that they create for their clients in the sunflower fields!

Blessings,

Carrie
